Euler Motors Turbo EV 1000

The Euler Motors Turbo EV 1000 is a 1-tonne electric mini pick-up truck built for city and intercity cargo delivery in India. It is priced between ₹6.00 Lakh and ₹8.35 Lakh (ex-showroom) across three variants - the 2080/City, the 2180/Fast Charge and the 2180/Maxx - making it one of the most affordable commercial EVs in the 4-wheeler goods-carrier segment.

Range and charging

Certified range depends on the variant: the 2080/City delivers 197 km, the 2180/Fast Charge 200+ km and the 2180/Maxx tops out at 267 km (all ARAI-certified), with real-world range of roughly 135 km, 140 km and 180 km respectively. The City and Maxx charge on AC in 4 to 4.5 and 5 to 6 hours respectively, while the Fast Charge variant adds a CCS2 DC fast-charging port and refills in 4.5 to 5 hours.

Performance and payload

All three variants carry a certified payload of 1,000 kg. The City uses a 15 kW motor with 120 Nm torque, the Fast Charge a 20 kW unit with 125 Nm, and the Maxx a 30 kW motor with 140 Nm - the last two top out at 70 km/h in Thunder mode. Batteries are 15.36 kWh (76.8 V), 16 kWh (320 V) and 19.2 kWh (96 V) lithium-ion packs, mounted under the chassis, with a 5-year or 150,000 km battery warranty. Hydraulic brakes with single-pedal actuation, disc brakes up front and drum brakes at the rear, plus a parabolic-leaf front and semi-elliptical rear suspension, suit stop-and-go city work.

The Turbo EV 1000 fits last-mile fleet operators, small businesses and e-commerce and FMCG distributors who run fixed urban routes and need a low cost-per-kilometre alternative to a small diesel pick-up.
