The Tresa Motors V0.1 is an upcoming 11-tonne payload electric truck from Bengaluru's Tresa Motors, built on the Model V platform with an 18-55T GVW envelope. Tresa has not announced a launch date or price, and the figures below are the manufacturer's expected specifications rather than final homologated numbers.
Range and charging
The V0.1 runs on modular Meg50 battery packs, each rated at 50 kWh, on an 800V electrical architecture. With up to six modules fitted, the truck can carry a maximum 300 kWh of battery and is claimed to cover up to 600 km, with roughly 100 km of range per module. Tresa targets a 10-80% charge in about 20 minutes on high-power chargers, which would keep the truck viable for multi-shift fleet work where fast charging is available.
Performance and payload
Power comes from the in-house FLUX350 axial-flux motor (RJ1), a liquid-cooled unit that Tresa claims delivers about 24,000 Nm of torque on wheels. Gradeability is rated up to 60.3 percent and top speed is software-limited to around 80 km/h. The 11-tonne payload suits e-commerce, logistics, tanker, auto-parts and agro-goods transport, with an automatic transmission and zero tailpipe emissions.
Who should buy it
The V0.1 is aimed at fleet operators and logistics companies moving up to 11 tonnes of goods on predictable routes where overnight depot charging and, later, high-power public charging are realistic. The strong payload and claimed range make it attractive on paper, but as a pre-launch truck its performance, pricing and service network are still to be proven. Early adopters should confirm final specifications and the commercial quotation directly with Tresa Motors before committing.
