1. Acceptance of these terms

These terms form a binding agreement between you and EVSoch. They apply to every visitor, whether or not you submit any form, and they work alongside our Privacy Notice, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

2. What EVSoch is (and isn't)

EVSoch is an information and comparison service. We publish specifications, pricing, charging and servicing details, editorial content, and an EV Score for electric vehicles sold in India, and we connect interested buyers with vehicle brands and dealer partners on request.

We are not a manufacturer, dealer, seller, financier, or insurer of any vehicle. Nothing on EVSoch is an offer to sell you a vehicle, and no purchase, finance, or insurance contract is formed on this site — those happen directly between you and the brand, dealer, or financial partner you're connected with.

3. Using the site

You can browse, compare, and research vehicles on EVSoch without creating an account. You must be legally capable of entering a binding contract in India to submit any form on the site — in practice, someone old enough to buy or lease a vehicle.

4. Accounts

EVSoch does not require or offer a consumer account — there is no sign-up or login to browse, bookmark, compare, or submit an enquiry. Authenticated accounts exist only for our internal editorial and administrative staff and are outside the scope of these terms.

5. Vehicle information and EV Score

Specifications, pricing, subsidies, range, and availability are sourced from manufacturers, official listings, and public data, and can change without notice. We work to keep this information current, but we don't guarantee it's complete, accurate, or up to date at the moment you read it — always confirm final pricing and specifications with the manufacturer or dealer before you buy.

The EV Score shown on each vehicle is a number we calculate from that vehicle's published specifications, using a consistent methodology across all vehicles. It is our own editorial measure, not an industry standard, a safety rating, or an endorsement, and it should be one input into your decision, not the only one.

6. Enquiries, offers, and vehicle feedback

When you submit an enquiry through an offer form, you're asking us to reach out (or to have a vehicle brand or dealer partner reach out) about pricing and offers. Submitting the form does not create any purchase obligation for you or any obligation on our part to secure a specific price.

If you submit a rating or written feedback on a vehicle, you confirm it reflects your own genuine view, and you grant EVSoch a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, display, and moderate it on the site. We review feedback before publishing and may reject, edit for length or clarity, or remove any submission — including after publication — at our discretion, particularly if it's false, defamatory, spam, or unrelated to the vehicle.

7. Bookmarks and comparisons

Bookmarking a vehicle or adding it to a comparison is stored only in your own browser, not on our servers or tied to any account. This means it's local to that browser and device — it won't follow you to another device, and clearing your browser's site data will erase it. We aren't able to recover it if that happens.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from EVSoch beyond ordinary browsing, or bypass any rate-limiting or access control we put in place.
• Submit false, misleading, defamatory, or spam content through any form, including vehicle feedback and enquiries.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or non-public part of the site.
• Use the site to build a competing product from our data, or misrepresent your relationship with EVSoch.
• Interfere with the site's normal operation, including through automated bots, denial-of-service attempts, or malicious code.

We may suspend or block access for anyone who violates these terms, and where relevant, report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.

9. Intellectual property

The EVSoch name, logo, site design, editorial content, and EV Score methodology belong to EVSoch or our licensors. Vehicle images, brand names, and logos remain the property of their respective manufacturers and are used for identification and comparison purposes. You may browse and share links to our pages, but you may not reproduce, redistribute, or build a derivative product from our content or data without our written permission.

10. Third-party links and content

EVSoch links to manufacturer brochures, dealer sites, financing partners, and embeds third-party video content on our blog. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those third parties — once you leave evsoch.com or interact with an embedded player, their own terms and privacy practices apply.

11. Disclaimers

EVSoch is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any vehicle information, price, or offer will be available, accurate, or honored by a third party.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EVSoch is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, your reliance on vehicle information or the EV Score, or your dealings with any brand, dealer, or financial partner we connect you with. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold EVSoch harmless from any claim or demand arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or content you submit (such as vehicle feedback) that infringes someone else's rights or breaks the law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from your use of EVSoch will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having authority over our registered place of business in India.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site evolves. When we make a material change, we'll update the date and version number at the top of this page. Continuing to use EVSoch after an update means you accept the revised terms.

16. General provisions

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Notice, are the entire agreement between you and EVSoch regarding your use of the site, and supersede any earlier version. Our failure to enforce any part of these terms at a given time doesn't waive our right to enforce it later.
