Tata Intra EV

The Tata Intra EV is an all-new electric pickup built on the proven Intra platform, positioned as India's first electric light commercial pickup under ₹12 lakh. It is designed for last-mile goods movement — courier and parcel, FMCG, e-commerce, milk, LPG and cold-drink logistics — with low operating costs and zero tailpipe emissions.

Price & Variants

The Intra EV is offered in a single 1.7 T variant at ₹11.95 lakh (ex-showroom), with a nationwide-uniform price and a 3-year or 1,25,000 km vehicle warranty.

Battery & Range

A 28.2 kWh LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery delivers an ARAI-certified range of 211 km, with a real-world range of 125–140 km under loaded duty cycles. AC charging takes 10.8–11 hours on a 3.3 kW charger or 4.8–5 hours on a 6.6 kW charger, while CCS2 DC fast charging tops up 10–80% in roughly 55 minutes.

Performance

A high-torque permanent magnet motor producing 72 kW (97 hp) and 230 Nm drives the rear e-axle, with a top speed of 80 km/h and 23% gradability. Three-level regenerative braking extends real-world range.

Payload & Dimensions

With a 1,750 kg payload and 3,310 kg GVW, the Intra EV carries a 2,960 mm × 1,750 mm × 460 mm load body. Dimensions are 4,734/4,745 mm long, 1,750 mm wide and 2,010 mm high, with a 2,600 mm wheelbase and 185 mm ground clearance.

Features & Safety

EPAS steering, a walkthrough cabin, driver information display, telematics (Tata Fleet Edge) and disc front / drum rear brakes with a separate electronic braking system come standard, backed by a 6-year / 1,98,000 km HV battery warranty.
