Mahindra Zeo

The Mahindra Zeo is an electric mini truck (4-wheeler small commercial vehicle) from Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, built for last-mile delivery operations. The name stands for "Zero Emission Option". It is offered in four variants — V1 FSD, V2 FSD, V1 DV and V2 DV — priced between Rs 7.88 lakh and Rs 8.37 lakh (ex-showroom).

Battery & Range

The Zeo is powered by LFP (cylindrical) battery packs in two sizes — 18.4 kWh on V1 and 21.3 kWh on V2, both IP67-rated with active liquid cooling on the larger pack and a 300V-plus architecture. Claimed real-world range is 145 km (18.4 kWh) and 160 km (21.3 kWh) on a full charge, with up to 20% regeneration to extend it.

Performance

A permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) produces 30 kW of peak power and 114 Nm of peak torque, with a top speed of 60 km/h. Class-leading 32% gradeability handles hilly routes, and Eco and Power drive modes plus creep mode (up to 8 km/h) make stop-and-go city driving easy. A 4.3 m turning radius helps in narrow lanes.

Payload & Dimensions

The Zeo carries a payload of 765 kg with a gross weight of 1,675 kg and kerb weight of 910 kg. The 2,257 mm cargo body comes as a Flat Side Deck (FSD) or a Delivery Van (DV) box, over a 2,500 mm wheelbase with 180 mm ground clearance.

Charging

Charging is flexible: about 7 hours 10 minutes on a 3.3 kW home charger, 3 hours 20 minutes on a 6.6 kW AC wall box, and DC fast charging (CCS2) that takes the battery from 0 to 80% in 71 minutes — adding 100 km of range in 60 minutes.

Features & Warranty

The Zeo includes power steering, ABS, hill hold assist, a fully digital instrument cluster, NEMO telematics with a driver app and fleet management system, and driver monitoring with ADAS functions (forward collision, pedestrian collision and lane departure warnings) available via accessories. It carries a 3-year/1,25,000 km vehicle warranty and a 7-year/1,50,000 km battery warranty.
