OPG Ferrato Disruptor

The OPG Ferrato Disruptor is an electric sports scooter from OPG Mobility (formerly Okaya), launched under the Ferrato EV brand. It is powered by a 6.37 kW peak PMSM motor with 45 Nm motor torque (228 Nm at the wheel), a 3.97 kWh LFP battery, and a claimed ARAI/IDC range of 109 km per charge. Priced at ₹1.55 lakh (ex-showroom) in a single STD variant, it has since been discontinued by the manufacturer.

The 3.97 kWh LFP battery pack (IP67-rated, non-removable, single unit) delivers a claimed range of 109 km per charge. A portable charger is included with the vehicle; a full 0-100% charge takes about 5 hours from a standard home outlet.

Performance

A 6.37 kW peak PMSM motor produces 45 Nm motor torque (228 Nm wheel torque) and a claimed top speed of 95 km/h. Three ride modes - Eco, City and Sports - let riders balance range against responsiveness, with the Sports mode delivering the most immediate acceleration.

Features & Connectivity

Standard equipment includes a hybrid digital instrument console, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity with a companion mobile app, GPS navigation, remote start, geo-fencing, vehicle tracking, reverse assist, regenerative braking, LED lighting, a USB charging port and side-stand motor cut-off.

Brakes & Safety

Braking uses a Combi Brake System (CBS) with 240 mm disc brakes front and rear; ABS is not offered. The telescopic front forks and mono-shock rear suspension are paired with tubeless tyres on 17-inch alloy wheels.

Market Position

Positioned as an affordable electric sports scooter against rivals like the Oben Rorr Evo and Avore EX series, the Disruptor stood out on styling and value, but limited dealer reach and the subsequent discontinuation have curtailed its market presence.
