The Ultraviolette Shockwave is the Bengaluru-based brand's first electric dual-sport enduro bike and its most affordable model yet. A street-legal electric off-road machine expected to launch around September 2026 at Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom), it is positioned as an eco-friendly rival to petrol enduros like the Hero XPulse 210 and the Kawasaki KLX 230.
Price & Launch
Expected to be priced at Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom) for the single Shockwave STD variant. Pre-bookings are open for a refundable Rs 999, with deliveries expected around September 2026.
Battery & Range
A 4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack drives a claimed IDC range of 165 km per charge. AC charging from empty takes about 2 hours 9 minutes, fast charging is supported, and the pack carries a 3-year / 30,000 km warranty.
Performance & Off-road Hardware
A chassis-mounted interior permanent magnet synchronous motor makes 10.81 kW (14.5 PS) with 505 Nm of torque at the rear wheel and a top speed of 120 km/h. The 120 kg kerb weight, 37 mm cartridge fork with 200 mm travel, mono shock with 180 mm travel, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels, dual-purpose tyres and switchable dual-channel ABS make it a genuine enduro.
Who should buy it
Standard kit includes a 5-inch TFT console with Bluetooth and e-SIM, 4-level traction control, 6-level dynamic regenerative braking, all-LED lighting, USB charging and a Ghost Mode riding feature. The Shockwave is for enduro enthusiasts and trail riders who want a zero-emission dual-sport with genuine off-road hardware — provided the EV charging network reaches their trails.
