The Kabira KM4000 Mark 2 is an electric sports-naked motorcycle from Kabira Mobility and the second-generation version of the KM4000. It is priced between Rs 1.51 lakh and Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom) across two variants — KM4000 Mark 2 B and KM4000 Mark 2 V — and is already on sale in India.
Battery and Range
The 4.1 kWh B variant claims 178 km per charge, while the 5.15 kWh V variant claims up to 201 km on the IDC cycle. A 1500 W onboard Type-2 charger takes the pack to full in about 3 hours, with a boost mode that reaches 0-60 per cent in roughly an hour.
Performance and Driving
A 5 kW nominal / 12 kW peak BLDC hub motor puts out 192 Nm of torque for a 120 km/h top speed and a 0-100 km/h time of 9.5 seconds. Five riding modes — Eco, City, Sports, Parking and Reverse — plus cruise control, reverse assist and regenerative braking tailor the ride to the rider.
Features and Practicality
A 5-inch TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity and OTA updates anchors the feature list, alongside LED lighting, a 13-litre underseat storage compartment and a 3-year / 30,000 km vehicle and battery warranty. Disc brakes front and rear use a Combi Brake System, as ABS is not offered.
Who Should Buy It
The KM4000 Mark 2 suits buyers who want a fast, feature-loaded electric naked bike without stretching past Rs 1.70 lakh. Riders planning long highway stints should account for real-world range running below the claimed figures, and the lack of ABS is worth weighing before purchase.
