A 1.56 kWh lithium-ion battery powers the JF, with a certified range of 120 km per charge. A full charge from a standard home socket takes around 4 to 5 hours, and there is no DC fast-charging option on the JF - the charge time is AC-only, so overnight charging at home is the realistic pattern.

Performance and driving

The hub motor drives the JF to a claimed 120 km/h, with Drive, Sports, Parking and Reverse modes to pick from. Braking is handled by double discs up front, a disc at the rear and a Combi Brake System - there is no ABS. Hydraulic telescopic forks and a rear mono-shocker keep the ride composed on city roads and shorter highway stretches, and the bike seats two.
