Cellestial 55 HP

The Cellestial 55 HP is a 4WD electric tractor from Cellestial, one of India's first electric tractor makers, priced from ₹9.00 Lakh ex-showroom. It is the highest-powered model in Cellestial's e-tractor line, built for medium to larger holdings, heavy ploughing and multi-implement operations where its 4000 kg lifting capacity and multi-speed PTO deliver heavy-duty performance.

Electric powertrain

It is powered by a 55 hp electric drivetrain with a 4000 kg lifting capacity and 4WD traction, rated at up to 30 kmph forward speed. Cellestial's e-tractor line runs on swappable, rechargeable batteries that charge within two hours from a domestic power source and sustain roughly six hours of field operation per charge. Exact battery capacity in kWh has not been published yet.

Who it is for

With near-silent, zero-emission operation and lower running costs versus a diesel tractor of the same class, the 55 HP suits medium to larger farms that need sustained heavy work without the fuel bill. GVW, payload, kerb weight and PTO RPM have not been published by any source at launch.
