The Ultraviolette F99 is a factory racing platform electric superbike developed by the Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle maker, built as a pure track and performance machine. First unveiled at EICMA 2023 and shown again at EICMA 2024, it has set an FMSCI-certified 10.712-second quarter-mile — the fastest time ever recorded by an Indian-manufactured motorcycle. Ultraviolette has not yet announced the F99's price, battery capacity, range or charging details.
Ultraviolette F99 performance
A liquid-cooled 10-pole interior permanent magnet motor produces a claimed peak output of 90 kW (120 bhp) and 200 Nm of motor torque, with wheel torque rated at 972 Nm. Ultraviolette claims a top speed of 265 km/h and a 0-100 km/h sprint of 3 seconds, backed by the certified 10.712-second quarter-mile run.
Track-spec hardware
The F99 rides on a steel hybrid frame with an aluminium swingarm and carbon-fibre bodywork with active aerodynamics on the winglets and windscreen. Fully adjustable Ohlins inverted fork and Ohlins monoshock handle suspension duty, while Brembo radial callipers on dual front discs and a rear disc provide the stopping power. It wears 120/70-17 front and 180/55-17 rear Metzeler Racetech slick tyres.
Weight and dimensions
Kerb weight is 178 kg with a 1400 mm wheelbase and an overall height of 1050 mm, keeping the F99 light and compact for a machine of this power output.
Who should buy it
The F99 is for enthusiasts and collectors who want a flagship, track-oriented electric superbike rather than a daily commuter. Since pricing, range, charging and road-legal details are still pending, it is best treated as a halo model to watch — buyers after an everyday Ultraviolette will be better served by the road-focused models in the lineup.
