The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is a performance electric motorcycle from Bengaluru's Ultraviolette, offered in Standard (Original) and Recon variants priced from ₹3.09 lakh to ₹4.44 lakh (ex-showroom). It is built for riders who want genuine sports-bike performance — a 155 km/h top speed and 90 Nm of torque — without the fuel bill.
Battery and range
Two battery options. The Standard pairs a 7.1 kWh pack with a 27 kW motor for a claimed 211 km range, while the Recon steps up to a 10.3 kWh pack and 30 kW motor for a claimed 323 km. Both support DC fast charging — 20-80% in about 45 minutes on the Standard and 60 minutes on the Recon.
Performance and riding
0-100 km/h in about 7.8 seconds in both variants, with a claimed 155 km/h top speed and 90 Nm of torque. The Recon adds 10-level regenerative braking and 4-level traction control (the Standard has 3 regen levels), and both ride on an upside-down telescopic front fork and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear.
Features and practicality
A 5-inch TFT display, dual-channel ABS, hill hold and dynamic stability control are standard. Kerb weight is 197 kg (Standard) and 207 kg (Recon), with an 800 mm seat height and 160 mm ground clearance. Nine colour options cover the range, and the companion app adds vehicle tracking over Bluetooth and WiFi.
Who should buy it
Enthusiasts who want India's fastest-feeling production electric bike and don't mind the premium price. The Standard carries a 3-year/60,000 km battery warranty; the Recon extends that to 5 years/100,000 km. For maximum range the Recon is the pick, while the Standard is the cheaper route into the F77 experience.
