The Tork Kratos is an electric motorcycle from Tork Motors, a Pune-based EV startup, built around a patented axial-flux motor and a steel trellis frame that uses the battery pack as a stressed member -- an engineering-led approach rather than a converted petrol platform.
Sold in two trims: the base Kratos (around Rs 1.31 lakh ex-showroom) and the higher-spec Kratos R (last listed around Rs 1.50 lakh ex-showroom, with earlier pricing up to Rs 1.68 lakh), across five colours -- Black, Red, Blue, White and Jet Black.
Both trims share a 4 kWh lithium-ion battery. The base Kratos is rated for 120 km of riding range; the Kratos R claims up to 180 km (IDC), with owners commonly reporting 120 km in Eco mode and closer to 70 km in Sport mode. A full home charge takes 4-5 hours on the base Kratos and 6-7 hours on the Kratos R, which additionally supports fast charging from 20-80% in about an hour.
The base Kratos makes 7.5 kW peak power and 28 Nm torque for a 100 km/h top speed, while the Kratos R steps up to 9 kW (about 12 bhp) and 38 Nm for a 105 km/h top speed. Riding modes include Eco, City, Sport and Reverse, plus regenerative braking on both trims.
Tork discontinued the Kratos R in October 2024, and Tork Motors has since faced reported insolvency proceedings -- prospective and existing owners should factor in uncertain spare-parts and service support.
