The Hop Electric OXO is an electric street bike from Hop Electric Mobility, a Jaipur-founded EV startup (2019), sold in two variants -- Standard and X -- across five colour options (Twilight Grey, Midnight Blue, Electric Yellow, True Black, Candy Red). Unlike most EVs at this price point which use a step-through scooter layout, the OXO is styled as a naked motorcycle, riding on an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel with a telescopic front fork and single downtube frame, per BikeWale's spec sheet.
The OXO Standard is priced at about Rs 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom) with a claimed range of 140 km and a top speed of 88 kmph. The OXO X steps up to roughly Rs 1.63 lakh ex-showroom for a longer claimed range of 150 km and a 95 kmph top speed.
Both variants use a 3.75 kWh lithium-ion battery pack driving a BLDC hub motor, with an 850W portable charger that takes about 4 hours 15 minutes for a 0-80% top-up and roughly 5 hours for a full 0-100% charge. Riders get Eco, Power and Sport ride modes plus regenerative braking, and a 5-inch digital instrument cluster.
Braking is handled by front (240mm) and rear (220mm) discs with a Combi Brake System (CBS) rather than ABS, paired with telescopic front forks and a hydraulic rear shock on tubeless tyres (90/90-R18 front, 130/70-R17 rear).
