Raptee T 30

The Raptee T 30 is Chennai-based Raptee.HV's first electric motorcycle and India's first high-voltage (240V) e-bike, a fully faired performance machine aimed at riders who want petrol-bike pace without the petrol. It is priced at Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom) in a single STD variant, offered in four colours, and has been on sale since its India launch in October 2024.

Range and charging

A 5.4 kWh Li-ion battery delivers a claimed IDC range of 200 km per charge. The T30 uses a CCS2 charging port, so DC fast charging takes the battery from 20-80% in about 30 minutes at a public charger, while the 3.3 kW onboard AC charger does the same 20-80% top-up in roughly an hour from a standard wall socket.

Performance and handling

A 22 kW (29.9 bhp) IPMSM motor produces 70 Nm of torque, pushing the T30 to a claimed top speed of 135 km/h and 0-60 km/h in 3.5 seconds. Three ride modes (Comfort, Power and Sprint) tailor the response, and dual-channel ABS with regenerative braking works with the 320 mm front disc to keep that performance in check. The belt drive removes chain maintenance, while the 177 kg kerb weight, 790 mm seat height and 161 mm ground clearance keep it practical for daily riding.

Features and technology

The 7-inch TFT touchscreen runs Raptee OS with full maps navigation, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, and a companion mobile app adds geofencing and navigation. The battery carries an 8-year/80,000 km warranty, with the vehicle itself covered for 3 years.
