Komaki MX3

The Komaki MX3 is an electric commuter two-wheeler from Komaki Electric, launched as the brand's foray into affordable electric mobility. It pairs a 2.17 kWh Li-ion battery with a BLDC hub motor for a claimed range of 80-90 km and a top speed of 80 km/h. The MX3 was sold in a single MX3 STD variant and was discontinued in India on 16 April 2026.

The MX3 was offered in a single MX3 STD variant, priced at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom) with an on-road price of about Rs 1.19 lakh in major cities.

Battery & Range

A 2.17 kWh Li-ion battery delivers an ARAI-claimed range of 80-90 km per charge, and charges fully in 4-5 hours (300 minutes) on a standard home socket. The battery, motor and controller carry a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty. No DC fast-charging is offered on this model.

Performance & Features

The BLDC hub motor provides a claimed top speed of 80 km/h. Features include Eco/Sport/Turbo riding modes, a digital instrument console, LED headlight and indicators, keyless and remote start, reverse assist, USB charging port, Bluetooth connectivity, parking assist and an anti-theft alarm. Braking is via front and rear disc brakes on alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.

Dimensions & Practicality

The MX3 offers 180 mm of ground clearance, with alloy wheels and a single-seat layout. It rides on telescopic front suspension and telescopic shock absorbers at the rear.
