The Atumobile AtumVader is an electric cafe racer motorcycle built in India at Atumobile's manufacturing facility in Patancheru, Telangana. It is powered by a BLDC hub motor and a 2.9 kWh lithium-ion battery, offers a claimed range of 100 km per charge, and is priced from Rs 1.46 lakh to Rs 1.66 lakh (ex-showroom).
Price and Variants
The AtumVader is sold in three variants - AtumVader S, AtumVader E and AtumVader X - priced at Rs 1.46 lakh, Rs 1.56 lakh and Rs 1.66 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The variants differ in motor output, kerb weight and gradeability, so the S is the city entry point while the X carries the most power.
Battery, Range and Charging
A 2.9 kWh Li-ion battery drives the hub motor and delivers a claimed range of 100 km on a single charge across all variants. It charges fully in about 4 hours using the included 15-amp home charger.
Performance and Ride
The top-spec AtumVader X develops 3 kW (3.5 kW max power) with 140 Nm of wheel torque and a claimed top speed of 65 km/h, while the base S runs a 1.5 kW motor. Ride modes (Eco, Drive, Sport, Reverse), cruise control, regenerative braking and a Combi Brake System come as standard.
Features and Practicality
Built on a tubular frame with 227 mm ground clearance, an 800 mm seat height and a 1355 mm wheelbase, the AtumVader pairs a 100/90-17 tubed tyre setup with spoke wheels and telescopic front suspension. It offers 14 litres of underseat storage, an all-LED lighting package and a digital instrument console.
Who Should Buy the AtumVader
The AtumVader suits riders who want cafe racer looks and light, easy city riding at a kerb weight of 114-125 kg. The 65 km/h top speed and 100 km claimed range keep it a city and short-commute machine rather than a highway tourer. With low running costs and retro styling, it is a style-led pick for urban buyers.
