The ADMS Alpha is an affordable, home-chargeable electric commuter bike from ADMS eBikes (ADMS Marketing Pvt. Ltd., Belgaum, Karnataka). Launched in India in July 2025 and currently on sale, it is offered in two battery-pack configurations priced from Rs 1.46 lakh to Rs 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom).

Price and Variants

The Alpha is available in two variants — Alpha 60V, 50Ah at Rs 1.46 lakh and Alpha 72V, 45Ah at Rs 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom) — in a single Red colour. Ex-showroom pricing is identical across Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.

Battery and Range

A 3.0 kWh lithium-ion pack (60V, 50Ah variant) delivers a claimed range of 70 km, while the 3.24 kWh pack (72V, 45Ah variant) extends that to 80 km on a full charge. Charging from a standard home socket takes about 4-5 hours for a full 0-100% charge (roughly 4.5 hours per the on-board figure); there is no DC fast-charging support, so plan around overnight charging.

Performance

A 2 kW Brushless DC motor powers the Alpha to a claimed top speed of 70 km/h, with Eco-Power-Sport ride modes and a reverse assist for low-speed manoeuvring. Disc brakes at both ends, a hydraulic front fork and telescopic rear suspension, and tubeless tyres keep the package simple and low-maintenance.

Features and Practicality

Measuring 2090 mm long, 710 mm wide and 1060 mm tall on a 1370 mm wheelbase, the Alpha weighs just 80 kg kerb. It carries a steel frame, a digital console with digital speedometer and odometer, LED lighting, a USB charging port, an anti-theft alert, a low-battery indicator and a pillion seat. ABS is not offered.

Who should buy it

The ADMS Alpha is best for budget-focused daily commuters who want an e-motorcycle under Rs 1.55 lakh with home-socket charging and low running costs. Given the modest 70-80 km claimed range and 70 km/h top speed, it suits short city hops rather than long highway runs, and the service network reach in your city is worth confirming before buying.
