JHEV Alfa R1

The JHEV Alfa R1 is the entry model of JHEV Motors' Alfa family of electric scooters, launched in February 2024 and sold through a distributor network across India. It pairs a 2.16 kWh removable Li-ion battery with a 2 kW belt-drive motor and a claimed range of 100–120 km per charge, at a listed price of ₹99,762 ex-showroom.

Performance and everyday running

With a 75 km/h top speed, the Alfa R1 sits in the high-speed scooter class rather than the 25 km/h quota segment, so it holds city traffic comfortably. A telescopic front fork and hydraulic rear suspension take care of broken roads, and double disc brakes front and rear handle stopping duty. Reverse assist makes parking-lot manoeuvring easier.

The feature list reads above its price bracket: all-LED lighting, a digital instrument console, keyless ignition, anti-theft alert, USB charging port and underseat storage. The 20 kg battery can be charged on or off the scooter.

JHEV backs the battery for 3 years or 40,000 km and the charger for 1 year.
