The iVOOMi Jeet X is an electric scooter priced at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom), sold in one variant and four colours: Red, Blue, Grey and White. A 2.1 kWh lithium-ion battery feeds a BLDC hub motor rated at 1,800 W (2,500 W peak), with a claimed range of 115 km and a top speed of 70 kmph.

Motor, battery and charging

The Jeet X pairs its 17.28 Nm motor with three riding modes: Eco, Ride and Speed. Charging runs through a portable charger, so the battery can be pulled off the scooter and topped up indoors; a full charge takes about 5 hours. Torque peaks at 9 degrees of graded climb ability, and the scooter weighs just 83.5 kg kerb.

Hardware and features

Braking is a 220 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum with E-ABS assistance, mounted on 12-inch alloy wheels running tubeless 90/90 tyres. Suspension is telescopic up front and spring-loaded telescopic at the rear. The feature list includes LED DRLs, a smartphone charging port, anti-theft alert, keyless operation and reverse gear.

Warranty

iVOOMi covers the battery for 3 years or 30,000 km and the scooter for 1 year or 30,000 km, with a separate 2-year motor warranty.

Should you buy one?

If your runs are short, your parking has a plug nearby and budget matters more than badge value, the Jeet X makes a case: removable battery charging, a workable 115 km claimed range and features like reverse gear at this price are rare. The trade-offs are a 70 kmph ceiling and a service network far thinner than the big EV brands offer, so check where your nearest iVOOMi dealer sits before booking.
