Skoda Epiq

Skoda Epiq is an upcoming electric SUV from Skoda India, expected to be priced at Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom). Globally it spans three variants — Epiq 35, 40 and 55 — with WLTP claimed range around 310 km on the smaller packs and up to 429-441 km on the 55, riding on a 2601 mm wheelbase. Range and charging

The Epiq 55 claims 429-441 km of WLTP range with DC fast charging (10-80% in about 24 minutes at up to ~105 kW); the 35 and 40 claim around 310 km. All variants include 11 kW AC charging as standard. Real-world range will be lower once air conditioning, highway speeds and passenger loads are factored in. No India-specific ARAI figure has been announced.

Performance and driving

Global outputs run from about 116 hp (35) to 208-211 hp (55), all front-wheel drive on the MEB+ platform. The focus is on an accessible, easy-to-drive electric SUV rather than outright performance. The 2601 mm wheelbase points to a spacious cabin for its size.

Practicality and features

The Epiq is shown in six colours: Silver, Red, White, Green, Gray and Black, with a 475-litre boot plus 25-litre frunk claimed. Skoda has not yet confirmed the India feature list or which of the three global variants comes here. Expect more details as the launch approaches.
