It supports DC fast charging at up to 350 kW, taking about 22 minutes for a 10-80% charge. The traction battery is covered for 8 years or 1,60,000 km.

Performance and driving

Twin permanent-magnet motors produce a combined 543 hp and 850 Nm, driving all four wheels through an all-wheel-drive system with a claimed 0-100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds. With a 5-seat cabin and the imposing Range Rover body, it promises the brand's signature blend of comfort, presence and off-road confidence in electric form, including 900 mm water-wading capability.

Bookings are open for the standard-wheelbase Autobiography, long-wheelbase SV, SV Ultra and SV Black trims, plus a First Edition in Belgravia Green, Santorini Black and Varesine Blue.
