Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV

The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is a fully-imported luxury electric SUV that sat between the EQB and the flagship EQS in Mercedes-Benz India's EQ line-up, launched in September 2023 and discontinued in April 2026. It was sold in a single top-spec 500 4MATIC variant at Rs 1.41 crore (ex-showroom).

Priced from Rs 1.41 crore (ex-showroom) across one fully-loaded variant - the EQE SUV 500 4MATIC - with a last recorded on-road price around Rs 1.47 crore in Mumbai. The model was discontinued in April 2026 after Mercedes-Benz India delisted it from its official website.

Battery & Range

Powered by a 90.56 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with an ARAI-claimed range of 550 km. Real-world range typically settles around 400-450 km, with the 10-year / 250,000 km battery warranty among the longest offered on any EV in India.

Performance

Twin electric motors (one on each axle) deliver 402.3 bhp and 858 Nm in an all-wheel-drive layout, sprinting from 0-100 kmph in 4.9 seconds and topping out at 210 kmph. It charges from 10-80 per cent in about 32 minutes on a 170 kW DC fast charger, or 0-100 per cent in 9.5 hours on the included 11 kW wallbox.

Dimensions & Practicality

Measures 4863 mm long, 1940 mm wide and 1685 mm high on a 3030 mm wheelbase, seating five with a 520-litre boot. Air suspension with ride-height adjustment and a 56-inch MBUX Hyperscreen highlight the cabin, though the space-saver spare tyre reduces usable boot space.

Market Position

The EQE SUV competed with the BMW iX and Audi Q8 e-tron in the luxury electric SUV segment, offering an understated, tech-focused alternative with one of the best battery warranties in the class.
