VariantsThe Mercedes-Benz EQE Sedan is an upcoming electric executive luxury sedan from Mercedes-Benz, built on the EVA electric architecture and positioned as the smaller sibling of the EQS. It is expected to arrive in India at around Rs 1.20 crore (ex-showroom) in a single EQE 350 variant, with the launch date not yet announced.
Range and Charging
The EQE 350 is powered by a 90.6 kWh battery pack with a claimed WLTP range of up to 639 km on a single charge. On a 170 kW DC fast charger, the battery tops up from 10 to 80 per cent in about 32 minutes, while an 11 kW AC wallbox is included for home charging — a full AC charge takes around 10.75 hours.
Performance and Driving
A rear-mounted electric motor delivers 292 PS and 565 Nm, driving the rear wheels through an automatic single-speed gearbox. The EQE 350 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in about 6.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 210 km/h, with Eco, Comfort, Sport and Individual drive modes and regenerative braking as standard.
Comfort, Features and Safety
The five-seat cabin combines a 12.8-inch OLED portrait MBUX touchscreen with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, four-zone climate control and a 430-litre boot. Safety kit includes nine airbags, Level 2 ADAS, ABS with EBD and a 360-degree camera, and the EQE carries a 5-star Euro NCAP rating.

The EQE Sedan suits buyers who want a long-range electric luxury saloon with flagship technology in a more compact package than the EQS. Since it is an upcoming model, prospective buyers should wait for official India pricing, launch date and ARAI range figures before committing.
