Grecale Folgore

The Maserati Grecale Folgore is the all-electric version of Maserati's entry-level luxury SUV, the Grecale, and the Italian marque's first fully electric SUV. Launched in India in November 2025, it pairs a 400V 105 kWh battery (97 kWh usable) with a dual-motor AWD setup producing 550 hp and 820 Nm.

Price & Variants

Priced at Rs 1.89 crore (ex-showroom, before options) in a single, fully-equipped Folgore variant, it undercuts the range-topping Grecale Trofeo petrol by Rs 10 lakh. On-road pricing adds registration, insurance and state taxes on top of the ex-showroom figure.

Battery & Range

A 105 kWh pack on a 400V architecture delivers a claimed single-charge range of 501 km as per Maserati's internal tests. The battery is covered by an 8-year warranty, a strong ownership safety net for a luxury EV.

Performance

One permanent-magnet synchronous motor per axle delivers a combined 550 hp and 820 Nm, propelling the 2,480 kg EV from 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds to a top speed of 220 km/h. Adaptive cruise control, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera and six airbags round out the safety and driver-assistance kit.

Charging

Supports up to 22 kW AC and 150 kW DC fast charging (10-80% in about 30 minutes) with a CCS2 connector. The standard 11 kW AC wall box takes around 8-9 hours for a full charge, making it an overnight proposition for home users.

Dimensions & Practicality

Measuring 4,865 mm x 1,948 mm x 1,651 mm with a 2,901 mm wheelbase and a 535-litre boot, it seats five in the triple-screen cabin shared with the petrol Grecale. A panoramic sunroof, 3-zone climate control and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard.
