The Maruti e Vitara is Maruti Suzuki's first mass-market electric SUV, sold through the NEXA channel in Delta, Zeta and Alpha trims. It is front-wheel-drive only in India, offered with a 49 kWh battery (142 bhp motor, 440 km ARAI range) on the Delta, or a 61 kWh battery (172 bhp motor, 543 km range) on Zeta and Alpha. Both use a CCS2 port with DC fast charging (10-80% in about 45 minutes) and carry an 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty. The e Vitara has a 5-star Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP rating, 7 airbags, and Level 2 ADAS (adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking) on higher variants, along with Suzuki Connect's 60+ connected features. It is also offered via an introductory Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme starting at Rs 10.99 lakh plus a per-km battery rental.
