KTM E-Duke

The KTM E-Duke is an upcoming electric naked motorcycle from KTM, first confirmed in Pierer Mobility's 2022 investor presentation and since developed into a running concept based on the latest-generation KTM 390 Duke platform. The production version is expected to be unveiled around EICMA 2026, with an India launch estimated for February 2027 at an ex-showroom price of around Rs 2.00 lakh.

Price & Variants

KTM lists a single E-Duke STD variant at an estimated price of Rs 2.00 lakh (ex-showroom). The final India pricing and variant line-up will be confirmed closer to launch, and the production colour palette is expected to extend beyond the KTM Orange shown on the concept.

Battery & Range

The concept uses a 5.5 kWh fixed lithium-ion battery pack mounted where the engine would sit, passively cooled through ducts on top of the tank. A claimed range of around 150 km is expected from the 10 kW (nominal) powertrain, with real-world range settling lower depending on riding style and load.

Charging

KTM has not yet announced charging times, fast-charging support or a 10-80% figure for the E-Duke concept. With a fixed 5.5 kWh pack, charging is expected to be home-based rather than reliant on public fast chargers, with details to follow alongside the production reveal.

Performance & Chassis

Peak output is projected at 10 kW nominal, putting performance around 150cc-petrol-equivalent level - a friendly, confidence-inspiring commuter rather than a full-strength Duke. The motor drives the rear wheel through a chain with no gearbox, and the clutch lever is replaced by the brake. It rides on adjustable WP suspension, ByBre brakes, slick tyres and a TFT console.

Who should buy it

The E-Duke is aimed at new riders and commuters who want an electric naked with proper motorcycle handling and KTM's familiar ergonomics, without the running costs of a petrol engine. Enthusiasts expecting Duke-level punch should wait for final output figures, which are yet to be confirmed.
