The Hero Lectro H7 is an electric bicycle (e-cycle) from Hero Lectro, the electric-cycle division of Hero Cycles / Firefox Bikes, built for urban commuting and light off-road use. It is offered in three variants — H7+, H7 Pro and H7 Sigma — priced from ₹33,499 to ₹40,999 (ex-showroom).
Price & Variants
The H7+ starts at ₹33,499, the H7 Pro at ₹37,999 and the H7 Sigma at ₹40,999 (ex-showroom). The H7 Pro adds a 7-speed Shimano gear system and an IP65 LCD display, while the top-spec H7 Sigma carries a larger 10.4Ah battery and key ignition.
Battery & Range
All variants are powered by a 250W BLDC motor with a 36V system. The H7+ and H7 Pro use a detachable 7.8Ah lithium-ion battery with a claimed range of 40 km per charge, while the H7 Sigma's 10.4Ah battery delivers up to 55 km on pedal-assist (45 km on throttle).
Charging
The battery is detachable and charges from a standard home outlet. Full charging takes about 4.5 hours on the H7+, 4 hours on the H7 Pro and 5.5 hours on the H7 Sigma.
Features & Ride
The H7 is equipped with disc brakes at both ends, a front suspension fork with 80mm of travel, tubeless tyres and an LCD display. A pedal-assist (PAS) sensor, swappable battery and an IP65 weather rating round out the package, with a top speed of 25 km/h — the standard ceiling for Indian e-cycles.
Who Should Buy It
The Hero Lectro H7 suits urban commuters, students and fitness-minded riders who want an e-cycle that feels like a real bicycle — 27.5-inch wheels, a 7-speed Shimano system on the Pro, and pedal-assist that makes daily rides effortless. With a 25 km/h top speed and a claimed 40-55 km range depending on variant, it covers commutes, college runs and light off-road trails. It is not a high-speed EV, so if you need motorised commuting above 25 km/h, an electric scooter or motorcycle is the better fit.
