Surge S32 PV

The Surge S32 PV is a fully electric high-speed passenger auto-rickshaw from Surge (Hero's EV mobility brand), classified as an L5M high-speed passenger carrier. It seats a driver and up to three passengers (D+3) and is built on a three-wheeler chassis with cabin, with a fully built body. Pricing has not been announced yet (TrucksDekho lists it as price coming soon), so it targets commercial auto operators and last-mile shared-mobility fleets entering the electric segment.

Range and charging

The S32 PV is powered by a 9.675 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Surge and TrucksDekho do not yet publish a certified range figure or charging time for the PV variant, so both remain unconfirmed until the company announces final specifications. The S32 family's modular 2-in-1 design means the 3-wheeler and its companion scooter have separate charging connectors, but PV-specific charging times have not been released.

Performance and payload

An 8 kW electric motor drives the rear wheel to a top speed of 45 km/h, with an automatic transmission and a 1-forward-1-reverse gearbox. The fully built body sits on a chassis with cabin and a day cabin layout, with drum brakes and a handlebar-type steering column. A driver information display comes standard. Payload capacity and gross vehicle weight are not yet published for the passenger variant.

The S32 PV suits city auto drivers, fleet operators and shared-mobility services that want a high-speed L5M passenger carrier with the modular flexibility of the Surge S32 platform.
