BHM Safari Super Deluxe MS

The BHM Safari Super Deluxe MS is a licensed, battery-operated passenger e-rickshaw from BHM Safari, the Kanpur-based electric rickshaw manufacturer. Built on a mild-steel body with an iron roof, it is approved for operation in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Punjab and Bihar.

Powertrain and Range

A 1200 W motor (Type of Motor: 1000 W, Motor Capacity: 1200 W) drives the vehicle off a 48 V battery pack of four units. It charges fully in about 9 hours and delivers an 80-100 km range, covering a full day of city routes. As an L3M low-speed passenger carrier it tops out at 25 km/h.

Body and Comfort

The Super Deluxe MS seats a driver plus four passengers with a fully-built day cabin body. It uses 3.75x12 tubeless tyres, MacPherson strut front suspension, a leaf-spring rear, drum brakes and a digital driver information display. Its lower GVW of 400 kg keeps the running costs and battery load modest.

Colours and Warranty

Sold in Blue, Red, Grey, White, Orange and Green metallic paint with an anti-rust body, the Super Deluxe MS carries a 12-month warranty and comes with battery and charger included.
