The Okaya Mobility OttopG P31 is an upcoming electric three-wheeler auto-rickshaw from OPG Mobility (Okaya EV), built as a fully built passenger carrier on a chassis-with-cabin layout. It seats the driver plus three passengers, rides on three tyres, and is being positioned for last-mile passenger movement in Indian cities and towns. Ex-showroom pricing has not been announced yet - TrucksDekho lists it as price coming soon - and the official launch date is still to be confirmed.

Range and charging

OPG Mobility has not yet published the OttopG P31's battery capacity, range per charge or charging times. With the three-wheeler still listed as expected-launch, buyers will have to wait for the official specification sheet before comparing range against established e-rickshaw rivals such as the Mahindra Treo and Piaggio Ape E City. What is confirmed is a fully electric powertrain, which keeps per-kilometre running costs well below a conventional fuel auto.

The OttopG P31 is a three-tyre auto-rickshaw with a fully built body, a chassis with cabin and a day cabin configuration. Seating is D+3, meaning one driver and three passengers. It uses a handle-bar steering setup with no power steering, and comes with a standard seat for the driver. Driver information display is provided, while air-conditioning, cruise control, hill hold and seat belts are not offered. Motor power, top speed and payload figures have not been officially announced at this stage.

The OttopG P31 is aimed at auto-rickshaw operators, fleet owners and passenger transport businesses looking for a low-operating-cost electric replacement for fuel-run three-wheelers.
