Mahindra Treo Zor Grand

The Mahindra Treo Zor Grand (marketed by Mahindra Last Mile Mobility as the Zor Grand) is a high-speed L5N electric cargo three-wheeler purpose-built for last-mile delivery and urban logistics. It is the grander sibling of the Treo Zor, offering a larger payload class with a 400 kg rating and a choice of delivery-van or pickup bodies.

Price & Variants

The Zor Grand is offered in three body styles -- the 2200/Pickup (PU) at Rs 4.12 lakh, the 2200/Delivery Van (DV) at Rs 4.45 lakh and the 2200/Delivery Van Plus (DV Plus) at Rs 4.52 lakh (ex-showroom). Pricing is uniform across major Indian cities. The DV packs a 4 m3 delivery box, the DV Plus a 4.8 m3 box, and the pickup a 1,828 mm loading tray.

Battery & Range

A 48V, 10.24 kWh lithium-ion pack delivers a typical real-world range of about 115 km on the delivery-van variants and up to 140 km on the pickup (certified figures of 172 km for the DV/DV Plus and 192 km for the pickup). A full charge takes about 4 hours 30 minutes on a standard home socket; there is no DC fast-charging option. The battery carries a 5-year / 120,000 km warranty.

Performance

A 12 kW electric motor produces 50 Nm of torque for a 50 km/h top speed and a best-in-class 20.34% gradeability, so flyover ramps and steep ghat climbs stay manageable even at full load. A clutchless, gearless automatic transmission and IP67 dust-and-waterproofing keep operation simple and monsoon-safe.

Dimensions & Payload

At 3,425 mm long, 1,460 mm wide and 1,755 mm tall on a 2,200 mm wheelbase, the Zor Grand carries a rated payload of 400 kg within a 998 kg gross vehicle weight. Ground clearance is 180 mm with a 6.1 m turning radius, sized for tight urban lanes and congested market streets.

Features & Ownership

Standard equipment includes a digital instrument cluster, telematics via the NEMO fleet and driver app, a USB charging port, a reverse buzzer and 12-inch tubeless radial tyres. Maintenance costs roughly Rs 0.12 per km, and Mahindra claims up to Rs 6 lakh in savings versus a comparable diesel carrier over the vehicle's life.
