Erisha E Smart

The Erisha E Smart is a fully-built electric auto-rickshaw from Erisha E Mobility, built for commercial passenger transport and last-mile mobility in India. It is an L5M high-speed passenger carrier with a D+5 seating layout (driver plus five passengers) and carries a gross weight of 1,200 kg on a chassis-with-cabin frame. Range and Charging

A 10.2 kWh, 200Ah lithium-ion battery pack feeds the E Smart a real-world range of 140-160 km per charge, and Erisha claims an ARAI-certified range of 206 km for the same pack. A full charge takes about 4 hours using the supplied 3 kW off-board AC charger, and the battery pack is IP67-rated. The battery works on a 51.2V electrical system with an auxiliary 12V, 9Ah battery for ancillaries.

The E Smart is powered by a 10 kW PMS (Permanent Magnet Synchronous) motor producing 38 Nm of torque, good for a top speed of around 70 km/h and 12.28% gradeability. It rides on 4.50x10, 8PR tyres with a helical-spring front suspension and rubber-spring rear setup, both with hydraulic telescopic dampers, and stops through hydraulically actuated drum brakes on all three wheels. It measures 2,970 mm long, 1,496 mm wide and 1,805 mm high on a 1,940 mm wheelbase with 230 mm of ground clearance, and tips the scales at 493 kg kerb weight.
