Lohia Narain Base

The Lohia Narain Base is a fully built electric passenger e-rickshaw from Lohia Auto, engineered for affordable last-mile connectivity in Indian cities and towns. It is a low-speed L3M passenger carrier that seats one driver and up to four passengers, with a governed top speed of 23.92 km/h for safe road operation.

Battery and performance

The Narain Base runs on a 51.2V battery system offered in 130 Ah lead-acid and 105 Ah lithium-ion packs, delivering around 6.6 kWh of energy and a real-world range of 100-120 km on a single charge. A 1200 W BLDC motor powers the direct-drive transmission. Lead-acid packs charge in 7-8 hours while the lithium option charges in about 4 hours.

Body and dimensions

Measuring 2765 mm in length, 970 mm in width and 1795 mm in height, the Narain Base offers 170 mm of ground clearance and rides on a wheelbase of 2040 mm. MacPherson strut front suspension and leaf spring rear suspension, combined with drum brakes on all three wheels, keep running costs low.

Starting at around 1.45 Lakh (ex-showroom), the Narain Base is aimed at passenger e-rickshaw operators who want a dependable, inexpensive daily-runner with a long-range battery option, backed by Lohia's nationwide dealer network.
