Etron Atom

The Etron Atom is a passenger e-rickshaw built for city and last-mile passenger transport in India. It seats one driver and four passengers and is powered by a 48V electric drivetrain with a differential DC brushless motor.

Performance and range

The Atom delivers up to 140 km of range on a full charge with a top speed of 25 km/h, within the L3M low-speed passenger carrier limit. A 20% gradeability rating helps it climb flyovers and ramps even with passengers on board.

Battery and charging

A 48V, 120 Ah battery pack (about 5.76 kWh) supplies the power, and a full charge takes 8-12 hours with the standard charger, suiting overnight charging for daily commercial use.

Build and comfort

A chassis-with-cabin body, leaf-spring suspension at both ends and a day cabin with driver information display give a stable, functional ride. Drum brakes and a 5 m turning radius handle narrow city streets comfortably.
