The Battery Operated Rickshaw is a fully built three-wheeler on a chassis-with-cabin layout with a day cabin. It seats the driver plus four passengers, with a kerb weight of 190 kg and a gross vehicle weight of 420 kg. At 2710 mm long with 170 mm ground clearance, it is light and compact for narrow lanes.

Electric Powertrain and Battery

A brushless differential motor delivers 1 hp through an automatic gearbox with forward and reverse. The 48V electrical system powers the drive, with a claimed range of up to 80 km on a full charge. A full charge takes about 7 to 8 hours from a standard home or shop socket.

Chassis and Ride

MacPherson strut front suspension with leaf spring rear suspension and drum brakes provide a stable, low-maintenance ride. The 2700 mm wheelbase keeps the rickshaw steady when loaded, and it rolls on 3.00-14 tyres at the rear and 3.00-12 at the front.
