The Jezza Super J1000 is an all-electric passenger e-rickshaw from Kolkata-based Jezza (Vani Electric Vehicles), built for affordable last-mile commuter transport in Indian cities. It combines a 1000 W BLDC motor with a 48V / 200Ah battery pack for a daily range of up to 100 km.
Performance and range
With a governed top speed of 25 km/h, the Super J1000 is classified as a low-speed passenger carrier (L3M). The 48V, 200Ah pack is sized for a full day of intra-city runs, and a full recharge from a home socket takes around 8 hours. The battery is removable, so operators can swap packs at service points instead of waiting for a charge.
Comfort and ride
The cabin seats a driver plus four passengers (D+4) on a 1900 mm wheelbase. Hydraulic front suspension with a 730 mm stroke and leaf-spring rear suspension soak up rough city roads, while drum brakes on all wheels and a handlebar steering setup keep controls simple.
Build and price
Fully-built body, 2790 mm long and 990 mm wide, with a kerb weight of around 350 kg. Priced from about ₹1.03 Lakh, it is positioned as an affordable entry point for owners and fleet operators looking to electrify last-mile passenger mobility.
