Janaasha E-Auto

The Janaasha E-Auto is an electric passenger auto-rickshaw from Janaasha, built as an L3M low-speed passenger carrier and priced from ₹1.70 lakh for the 2040/Electric variant. A 48 V, 100 Ah lithium-ion battery feeds a 1160 W BLDC motor, and the whole package is aimed squarely at city last-mile trips, shared commuting and gated-community feeder routes.

Range and charging

Janaasha claims a driving range of 60-70 km on a full charge of the 100 Ah pack, which for a low-speed carrier capped at 25 km/h is a realistic figure for a full day of short hops in traffic. Recharging takes 2-3 hours from a standard socket, so the E-Auto is ready for a fresh shift after an overnight charge or a long lunch break.
