The Hitech HT Super is a low-speed passenger e-rickshaw from Hitech, built for shared last-mile mobility in Indian cities. It is certified as an L3M low-speed passenger carrier, which means no driving licence beyond the standard light-motor vehicle class is required for commercial operation.
Body and Seating
The HT Super is a fully built, day-cabin three-wheeler with a chassis-with-cabin construction. It seats the driver plus four passengers, with a gross vehicle weight of 1980 kg. The compact 2660 mm length and 180 mm ground clearance make it easy to thread through narrow lanes and market streets.
Electric Powertrain and Battery
A brushless DC motor drives the rear wheel through a single-speed automatic gearbox with reverse. The 48V lithium-ion pack (110 Ah, about 5.28 kWh usable) supports a claimed range of 100 to 120 km on a full charge, and takes about 1 to 2 hours to top up. Top speed is a governed 25 km/h, typical of low-speed e-rickshaws.
Chassis and Ride
Leaf spring suspension at both ends and drum brakes provide a stable, low-maintenance ride. The HT Super rolls on 3x17 tyres at the front and rear, with a 2400 mm turning radius for easy U-turns. A digital instrument cluster keeps the driver informed of battery and running status.
