The Gayatri Electric School Van is a purpose-built electric passenger three-wheeler for school and institute transport in India. It pairs a BLDC motor with a 48V battery pack in a D+5 layout designed for short daily routes.

The School Van runs on a 48V, 100 Ah battery pack (about 4.8 kWh) that delivers a claimed range of around 90 km on a full charge. Recharging takes about 6-8 hours from a standard socket.
Motor and performance
A BLDC motor rated at 1 hp (23.6 Nm torque) drives the rear wheels. Top speed is capped at 25 km/h, and the automatic transmission with 3x3 axle configuration keeps operation simple.
