AMO Electric Jaunty-3W

The AMO Electric Jaunty-3W is a purpose-built three-wheel electric scooter from AMO Mobility Solutions, designed specifically for physically challenged riders, senior citizens and first-time EV owners. Powered by a 249 W brushless DC hub motor, it offers a claimed range of 75–100 km per charge and a 25 km/h top speed, keeping it in the low-speed, no-licence class.

Price & Variants

The Jaunty-3W is sold in a single STD variant priced at ₹81,669 ex-showroom (Delhi). With RTO and insurance the on-road price comes to roughly ₹85,400 depending on city.

Battery & Range

Two VRLA battery options are offered — a 60V 26Ah unit rated for 75 km and a 60V 32Ah unit for 100 km+. The 1.56 kWh pack charges fully in about 6 hours, and the 0–60% fast home charge takes under 2 hours. Battery warranty is 1 year, vehicle warranty 3 years or 30,000 km.

Performance & Ride

A 249 W BLDC motor delivers a claimed 25 km/h top speed and an 18° gradeability. Telescopic fork front and spring-loaded gas rear suspension, 10-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, and a 230 kg gross vehicle weight give a stable, comfortable ride at low speeds.

Dimensions & Practicality

Measuring 1780 mm x 700 mm x 1108 mm with a 730 mm seat height and 150 mm ground clearance, the Jaunty-3W offers a 230 kg load carrying capacity and 62 kg kerb weight. Features include a front disc brake, rear drum brake, EABS, side-stand sensor, LED headlight with DRL, digital instrument cluster and a USB mobile charging port.
