The Gkon PRO is a low-speed passenger electric rickshaw built for last-mile commuter runs in Indian cities. It combines a BLDC motor with a 48V battery pack and a six-passenger cabin designed for daily use.
Battery and range
The PRO runs on a 48V, 100 Ah battery pack (about 4.8 kWh) that delivers a claimed range of around 80 km on a full charge. Recharging takes about 7 hours from a standard socket.
Motor and performance
A BLDC motor rated at 1 hp drives the rear wheel. Top speed is capped at 25 km/h, and the automatic transmission with a 1-forward, 1-reverse gearbox keeps operation simple.
Capacity and dimensions
The D+6 layout seats one driver and six passengers. The rickshaw rides on a 2155 mm wheelbase with a payload capacity of 400 kg and a 510 kg gross vehicle weight.
Comfort and ride
Independent suspension smooths out uneven roads, while drum brakes on all wheels and a chassis-with-cabin body give the PRO a stable, safe ride at low speeds.
Price
The Gkon PRO is priced from about ₹0.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
