The VX2 rides better than its price tag suggests — accelerator response is well judged and the suspension soaks up broken roads comfortably, so city commuting isn't a chore. It's not a quick scooter though: Eco mode caps out around 45 km/h, which can feel too slow in real traffic, and there's a noticeable electric motor whine at higher speeds.

Where the VX2 really earns its keep is value: BaaS pricing starts around Rs 44,990-54,990 with a 5-year warranty and buyback guarantee, and the swappable Li-ion batteries can be charged independently like a phone. The seat is spacious with a low 777mm height, and under-seat storage runs 27.2-33 litres depending on variant — genuinely useful despite the removable pack eating into the space.

After actual use, a few rough edges show up: the battery lock mechanism feels flimsy and cheap for a scooter built around swappable packs, the display is dim and hard to read in sunlight, and the regenerative braking on throttle release isn't strong or adjustable. Storage also can't fit a full-face helmet, and at least one test unit reportedly had the motor stall from heat — worth watching on a longer test ride before buying.
