The Hero Vida VX2 is a family-oriented electric scooter positioned as an affordable everyday commuter, with prices ranging from roughly ₹45,000 under Vida's Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan up to ₹1.31 lakh for the fully-owned VX2 Plus.
Power comes from a 6 kW PMSM motor driving the rear wheel, paired with removable Li-ion battery packs offered in 2.2 kWh and 3.4 kWh sizes. IDC-claimed range spans roughly 92 km on the base 2.2 kWh pack up to 146 km on the larger 3.4 kWh pack, with top speed ranging from 70 km/h to 80 km/h depending on variant.
The swappable battery can be charged independently like a smartphone, taking about 3.2-3.5 hours on a standard charger, with fast charging cutting this down to roughly 2-2.5 hours. The scooter is backed by a 5-year/50,000 km battery warranty and includes a 4.3-inch digital instrument console with Bluetooth-based mobile app connectivity.
