The Vida V2's biggest shift from the V1 is price — Hero has positioned it more aggressively to win over first-time EV scooter buyers, and on paper the recipe still holds up: removable batteries, a 7-inch TFT display, and the same agile handling character reviewers liked on the V1. The V2 Pro's 165 km claimed range is competitive in the maxi-scooter segment, and 26 litres of underseat storage is genuinely useful for daily errands.

With two removable battery packs, the V2 can be topped up at home, at a Vida charging station, or via battery swap depending on network availability in your city — a meaningful advantage over scooters locked to a single fixed pack. The trade-off is a fairly slow 5+ hour full charge on the standard portable charger, and no ABS even at the Pro's price point, so this is a scooter best suited to owners who charge overnight rather than needing a quick top-up mid-day.

The premium for the Pro over the Plus buys a noticeably larger 3.94 kWh pack (22 km more claimed range), a faster 0-40 km/h time, a higher 90 km/h top speed, and access to Sport and Custom ride modes. For riders doing longer daily commutes or occasional highway stretches, the Pro's range and performance headroom make it the more sensible pick over the entry Plus — and owner reviews after real-world mileage back up range figures close to the claimed numbers in Eco/Ride mode.
