Range claims look good on paper - 86km for the V1 and 158km for the V2 off the same IDC test cycle - and the 2.5kW hub motor spins up in near-total silence in city traffic. But reviewers are consistent that real-world performance is a clear step down from TVS's own iQube on the identical 3.1kWh battery, and the 68kmph top speed with only 7-degree gradeability keeps this firmly in commuter territory rather than anything sporty.

The feature list punches above the price: cruise control and hill-hold assist are rare this low in the segment, the 34-litre underseat well plus a front cubby with USB charging covers daily errands well, and the long flat seat suits taller riders and pillions. Build quality gets called out too - fitted plastics with no panel gaps. Pricing is competitive across both variants, especially after the PM E-Drive subsidy.

The biggest ownership trade-off is braking - there's no front disc and no ABS, just drum brakes front and rear backed by a Combi Brake System. That's a real gap versus rivals with front discs at a similar price, and the underseat boot's shallow depth also undercuts the useful-sounding 34-litre claim in practice. Worth test-riding both variants before deciding, since the V1 and V2 differ meaningfully in charging time as well as range.
