TVS iQube S

The TVS iQube S is the mid-tier trim of TVS's iQube electric scooter family, and at ₹1.70 lakh (ex-showroom) it is aimed at commuters who want a connected, comfortable daily scooter with a long claimed range. A single variant, the iQube S 4.7 kWh, carries the full load, backed by a 175 km claimed range and a 4.7 kWh battery.

Range and charging

TVS claims 175 km on a charge from the 4.7 kWh lithium-ion pack. In real city use you will land lower than that, but the claimed figure is high enough that even a reduced real-world number covers a full week of commutes for most riders. Charging takes about 4 hours (240 minutes) on the standard home charger; no separate fast-charging figure is published for the iQube S.

Performance and driving

A BLDC hub motor rated at 5.9 bhp produces 33 Nm of torque, good for a claimed top speed of 78 km/h. Regenerative braking helps claw back energy in city riding, and tubeless 12-inch tyres with a front disc and rear drum brake keep the package light at 128.8 kg kerb weight.

Practicality and features

The iQube S runs a 7-inch TFT display with mobile connectivity, along with a 770 mm seat height that suits most riders and 157 mm of ground clearance for broken city roads. The seat is roomy enough for two, and storage under the seat swallows a full-face helmet. Three colourways — Magnifecence Purple Beige, Harliquine Blue-Beige and Titanium Grey Matte — round out the package.

The iQube S is for commuters who value range, connected features and ride comfort over raw acceleration. If you need the fastest scooter or the cheapest price, rivals offer alternatives, but few match its combination of 175 km claimed range and a 7-inch TFT at this price.
