The Suzuki e-Access is Suzuki Motorcycle India's first electric scooter, launched in January 2026 as a single e Access STD variant priced at Rs 1,88,490 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Built around a fixed LFP battery and the brand's 'Suzuki e technology', it combines conservative, well-finished styling with a 4.2-inch colour TFT console and the reassurance of Suzuki's dealer network.

Range and charging

A fixed 3.07 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery delivers a claimed 95 km range as per AIS-040, with real-world use typically landing lower. The included portable home charger takes the pack from 0-80 per cent in about 4 hours 30 minutes and 0-100 per cent in about 6 hours 20 minutes, while a Suzuki fast charger at designated locations cuts 0-80 per cent to around 1 hour 12 minutes.

Performance and driving

A 4.1 kW mid-mounted motor with 15 Nm of torque gives a claimed 71 km/h top speed in Ride A and Ride B modes; Eco mode caps speed at 55 km/h for maximum efficiency. Three drive modes plus Reverse are managed through the SDMS-e selector, with power output held constant until the battery reaches 10 per cent state of charge.

Features and practicality

Standard kit includes a 4.2-inch TFT with turn-by-turn navigation, call, message and weather alerts, keyless entry, LED lighting, a USB port and 17 litres of underseat storage. A 190 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum with a combined braking system handle stops, and the e-Access is backed by a 7-year / 70,000 km warranty.

Who should buy it

The e-Access suits city riders who value build quality, a proven dealer network and a seven-year warranty over outright spec, and who can charge at home overnight. If maximum range per rupee or faster public charging matters more, cheaper rivals offer more for less — but for dependable daily commuting, the Suzuki is easy to live with.
