The Poise Grace is a city electric scooter from the Bengaluru-based brand Poise Scooters, a subsidiary of Nisiki Technologies. Built around a swappable NMC lithium-ion battery, it is aimed at daily commuters who want to charge at home from a plain 220 V socket or swap packs on the go. It is sold in two pack options, 34 Ah and 42 Ah.
Poise Grace price and variants
The Grace 34 Ah is listed at Rs 1,01,216 ex-showroom and the Grace 42 Ah at Rs 1,12,002. State EV subsidies can bring the effective on-road cost down in several cities. The scooter is assembled at Poise's Yeshwanthpur facility in Bengaluru.
Motor, battery and range
An 800 W BLDC hub motor (about 1.07 bhp) drives the rear wheel through automatic transmission, with push-button start. The ARAI-claimed range is 110 km per charge for the 34 Ah pack, and the company claims 110-140 km across the range with the larger 42 Ah variant at the top of that band. Top speed is about 50 km/h, so this is a city scooter rather than a highway one.
Charging: portable and swappable
The battery pack is removable and can be charged indoors from any regular household socket, which makes it workable for apartment dwellers without dedicated parking. Poise also tied up with battery-swapping stations and P2P charging partners when it launched the Grace in March 2022.
Features
Digital instrument console with speedometer, odometer and tripmeter
LED headlamp, LED indicators and LED taillight
Bluetooth connectivity with USB charging port
Disc brakes front and rear with combi-brake system
Alloy wheels, tubeless tyres and underseat storage
Should you buy one?
The Grace makes sense as a light, low-running-cost second scooter for short urban trips, provided you have a dealer nearby - Poise's network is small and concentrated around Karnataka. Buyers comparing this segment should also look at the Ampere Magnus, Okinawa Lite and Hero Electric Optima before deciding.
