The Ola S1 X+ (S1 X Plus) is the range-topping electric scooter in Ola Electric's S1 X line, sharing the base S1 X's platform while adding a more powerful motor and extra equipment. It is available in India in two battery packs priced from Rs 1.20 lakh to Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom).

The S1 X+ is offered in two trims: the 4kWh pack at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.20 lakh and the newer 5.2kWh pack at Rs 1.36 lakh. Both share the same 11 kW mid-drive motor, chain drive and 113 kg kerb weight.

Range and Charging

The 4kWh pack is IDC-rated at 242 km per charge, while the 5.2kWh pack, built on Ola's indigenous 4680 Bharat Cell technology, stretches the claimed range to 320 km. Charging is AC-only: a 0-80% top-up takes about 4 hours 50 minutes on the included 750W portable charger, which plugs into a standard 5A wall socket. The scooter does not support DC fast charging, so plan for overnight or workplace charging.

Performance and Riding

The 11 kW (14.75 bhp) mid-drive IPM motor gives the S1 X+ a claimed top speed of 125 km/h. It offers Eco and Normal drive modes with Sports available as a paid add-on, plus cruise control, regenerative braking and a Combi Brake System pairing a front disc with a rear drum brake.

A 4.3-inch colour LCD handles ride information, and the Ola app adds vehicle tracking, a charging-station locator and ride statistics.
