The Kinetic Green E-Luna is an electric moped scooter that revives the iconic Luna nameplate from the 1970s in a utility-first electric avatar. Built around a rugged steel tubular frame with a step-through design, it targets budget commuters, small-business owners, delivery riders and rural buyers.

Priced from Rs 69,990 to Rs 82,490 (ex-showroom) across four variants - X3 Go, X3 Plus, X3 Pro and X3 Prime. The X3 Go and X3 Plus carry a 2.3 kWh pack with a claimed 110 km range, while the X3 Pro and X3 Prime claim 105 km per charge.

Battery & Range

A removable 2.3 kWh Li-ion battery (18.2 kg) delivers a claimed range of up to 110 km per charge, with a conventional charging time of about 5 hours for a full charge. The E-Luna is rated for a 150 kg payload and comes with a portable home charger.

Performance

A 2.2 kW BLDC hub motor provides a top speed of 50 km/h with gentle, efficiency-tuned power delivery. It feels nimble in city traffic but struggles on steep inclines, and it is not built for sustained highway running.

Features & Practicality

Standard equipment includes a digital instrument cluster, USB charging port, combi-brake system with side-stand cut-off, luggage hooks and a removable pillion seat that converts the rear into a cargo platform. There is no underseat storage.

Market Position

Positioned as one of the most affordable electric two-wheelers in India, the E-Luna's closest rivals are utility e-mopeds and low-speed commuters rather than mainstream scooters.
